When In Doubt, Chop It Off
Kenyan singer Wahu Kagwi, also a former model is killing the short hair game. Short and cropped hairstyles have been her aesthetic, key identifier and we are more than happy to share our favourites with y’all! We promise these hairstyles will completely blow your mind.
Girl, wewe ni ajabu!
Are you ready for your big chop? We sure are! And Wahu takes it a notch higher with this blonde look for her TWA. Blonde hair is a refreshing stand out and we simply CANNOT stop gushing about this one. While oozing feminine feels, the haircut also has a certain boyish charm to it. Finish it up with a floral headband or accessory to add that ‘you’ element to it.
In another one of her adventures of short-cropped looks, Wahu sports a ‘frohawk. She looks so carefree and confident, we’re in awe! Her hair is shaved in a faded undercut on both sides and the big afro hair is left freely, beautifully running wild. If you’re loving this gorgeous look just as much as we are, you could try it too. Perhaps add some colour to it?

We’re witness to her powerful looks, we’re still reeling from each and every one of them. This one though steals the show for us! The hairstyle is a mixture of braids and her natural ‘fro. The tree braids moving up to a ‘fro is such a unique style tweak and to add to it, its coloured blonde! Definitely makes it to our bucket list! Considering recreating the look using Inecto Plus Permanent Hair Colour in Sunkissed Blonde. Get, Set, Slay!

Wahu rocks this faded undercut with distinct lines. We love how edgy this hairstyle looks. The lined pattern adds drama to the look and takes sexy to a whole new level! If you’re planning on rocking that side-shave, don’t forget to use a good conditioner to keep those babies soft and smooth on top with some Profectiv Mega Growth Daily Leave-In Conditioner
