Quarantine or lockdown during the covid-19 crisis, has meant that we can’t live life the way we used to. That means only making necessary trips outside the house and if you do, you must practice social distancing rules and wear a mask for your and others’ safety. Most of us have had to resort to doing our own hair at home because salons were closed for a while…And guess what, it’s been a learning experience! Here are some memes that describe the quarantine experience:
It is never the same when you do your hair and when your stylist does it, right?! But we did it anyway. You’ve probably had to do your own hair a couple of times during this lockdown but I know you have continued to perfect your skills.
Following You Tube tutorials can be disappointing sometimes. Especially when they recommend products that don’t work on your hair. For instance, If you’ve been trying to lay down your edges during quarantine, you might be using the wrong products. Try the African Pride Silky Egdes for both natural and relaxed hair! This edge control does not flake so you can reapply daily and add as much product for the perfect baby hairs.
Have you ever washed and conditioned your hair and just felt like you have your life together during quarantine? To be honest this is how I feel when I use the Mega Growth line from start to finish! My 4c hair feels light and moisturized. Hello clouds!
Who needs to lift weights at the gym when you have natural hair to detangle?
Quarantine has given us time to detangle our hair. And I mean truly detangle. This detangling process is usually accompanied by some huffs and puffs as well as balancing tears in the distance. Somebody send help.
Twisting hair takes ages. But we’ve got nothing but time during lockdown! So what do we do? We take our African Pride Shea Butter Curling Cream, apply it to our hair and twist away. The end result is gorgeous curls! So the hours of twisting are worth it.
