On a scale of 1 to OMG, how much do you love head wraps? 9/10! I LOVE wearing head wraps!
Twist outs or braid outs? Twist outs any day.
How do you wear it to work or everyday? Most days I’ll wear my natural hair in a 2-strand Bantu knot out, and for the following days I’ll either wear my hair in a top puff or I’ll just re-twist the hair into bigger sized Bantu knots to stretch the hair further.

I’ve probably owned 10,000 bobby pins and hair ties in my life.. Be honest, how many have you owned so far 😀 ?Probably the same amount! I ALWAYS lose them so I try to keep them on a piece of paper so they sit in one place.
What’s the one thing you’d advice people wanting to go natural?Natural hair is a journey and it teaches you a lot that you didn’t know about yourself.
Do you prefer healthy hair or long hair? Health over length, always.
What’s your go-to quick-fix hairstyle when you want to save time?Definitely a top puff! For days when I have absolutely no time, definitely a head wrap.

Being a naturalista myself, I know how many naturalistas don’t trust hairstylists with their hair. When was the last time you visited a salon? How was the experience? Actually this was about a week ago. My hair badly needed a trim so I went to the salon with freshly washed hair for a blow dry and a trim. Blow drying my hair for me is usually a slightly painful experience as my scalp is very sensitive, so it’s usually the one thing I mentally prepare for when going to a salon. That, and detangling the hair if I’ve had it washed at the salon. I don’t mind the overall experience as I’ve had the same guy trim my hair for about 3 years now.
You’re pretty much a hair guru yourself. Are there any other hair gurus you admire?Definitely! Locally, I love Sheila Ndinda and Michelle Anyango. Internationally I love Chizi Duru, Ijeoma Kola, Naptural 85 and The Chic Natural.
Do you think you’ll ever relax your hair again?Nope. Never.
