Hair Care

We love extensions! Right from wigs to weaves or braids, they accentuate the look of our crown. With the accelerating air around hair care, a lot of us are consciously indulging in protective hairstyles. But that’s also raised a whole lot of questions pertaining to extension-adding practices.
How often should you wash your hair under extensions? Is it the same wash routine for every kind of extension? Are there any negative consequences of over-washing? We are here to answer it all, so get ready to rumble!
It is recommended that we wash hair extensions atleast once in three weeks irrespective of their material (human hair or synthetic). Shampoo works as a gentle cleanse for your hair without leaving any residue. Remember that your hair under the braids takes longer to dry because of non-uniform availability of space and hair.
This part is a bit tricky. You need to wash your weaves every 7 to 10 days regardless of the material used for creating them. Use an exclusive product like Dr.Miracle’s Curl Care Frizz Control Serum to minimize the tangling and damage done by washing your weaves. Manage your weaves carefully and they will leave no stone unturned in adding volume to your hair, we promise!
Over-washing of extensions can peel off the moisture and oil from them. That’s serious! As they don’t get any oil from the scalp. Devoid of the oils, your hair extensions will end up looking frizzy and untidy.
So go on and get jiggy with washing your hair extensions girl!
