Hair Maintenance

It would really depend on the cause of the damage but I would say, take a break from manipulating your hair: braiding etc and do lighter options like styling and just leaving it open. This is because one of the top reasons for hair breakage is the stress and over manipulation. Secondly if you use heat often you can reduce that as it reduces hydration of the hair causing brittleness and consequently breakage.

I’ve seen Jamaican Black Castor oil work for many. Twice a day application and be keen to massage the scalp that too promotes growth. In addition to that, again, choose less stressful braiding and styling options.
I think the cause of this is probably dryness. Use a moisturizer and further an oil to seal in the moisture, your hair will be well hydrated and soft. Use the right combs as well- look up combs that are best suited for detangling and combing your hair based on your hair type and texture. Regular treatment will also strengthen your hair strands.
I’m a believer of hair being a form of expression and art so I would really say go out there and do THE MOST. However, consider the health of your hair throughout when choosing styles so all I can say is stop straining your hairline and don’t keep your hair in for too long.

I’m really loving the curly clip ins trend. I think it’s fast and easy and hella cuuuuute. I’ve seen so many styles so far and that one is definitely winning!
