Natural hair bloggers have changed how we perceive natural hair in recent years. We have come to look to them for inspiration and information. They make it so easy! Thanks to them we are no longer clueless or frustrated when it comes to 4c hair. Not to mention the affordable and readily available product options they so kindly suggest to us. Here are some budding natural hair influencers to follow on Instagram today:
First up is Michelle Anyango Alias @nwelechronicles. This hair guru dishes out easy-to-do crochet styles as well as tips and tricks on how to create a high puff when you have short hair. Her YouTube tutorials are a testament to how fun caring for natural hair can be. She has also headlined some natural hair events and twist outs are her forte!
Naomi has is highly skilled in incorporating kinky hair extensions into her hair and making them blend seamlessly. Her creative and beautiful styles clearly showcase her talent and secures her place in this list. We especially loved her tutorial in which she used Darling Kenya Abuja Braids to create a gorgeous hair extension.
You can go to her page for her mouth-watering food but more importantly, her museum-worthy hairstyles. She brings together creativity with her passion for hair and it shows. She incorporates cultural influences into her hairstyles with stunning results. This girl can lay down faux locs and gold thread like nobody’s business. Definitely giving pro hairstylists a run for their money!
Formerly known as @mykenyanpuff. Sharon is not hair goals. She is hair everything. Being one to experiment with colours like blonde and plum, this gorgeous gal’s tresses are a thing of beauty. She is an advocate for healthy hair and inspires us to embrace and wear out our kinky hair with pride. Thanks Sharon!
