It’s now day number 27896543 of self-quarantine (you probably didn’t read that number in full & we don’t blame you. The world is losing its mind. These are different times we are living in. Remember when you could just go outside your house and hug people or hold hands? It seems like a world away. Now, if you cough people move away from you like you’re an alien. Now, hand sanitizer and masks are as commonplace as breathing. Now you can’t just blow the candles on a cake…No one’s going to eat it, because you could be spreading covid-19. If you’re reading this in the year 2060, hopefully things are better now! Some of us have been in self isolation and it’s starting to show. Nails are overgrown, hair dye fading…Now we’re just 2 weeks away from knowing everyone’s real hair colour.
We have a few tips to help you stay sane so that you don’t rip your hair out. We still need you! Here are hair-related things to do during quarantine:
Many of us are working remotely from home, in pyjamas and silk hair bonnets. Yipee! Dreams do come true. Some of us are even having video conference calls with workmates. It was nice at first, but it is getting old. Monday feels like Sunday which feels like Wednesday. Everyday is everyday. There is one way to help you get out of the boring routine and bring back an ounce of normalcy: Doing your hair. Wake up and spruce your hair up into an easy hairstyle, put some makeup on and wear comfortable clothes (that are not pyjamas or sweatsuits) That Zoom video call will feel different because when you look good, you definitely feel good. Productivity here you come!
The world (as in Google) is your oyster. You can learn almost anything in the age of the internet. The internet is rife with free and paid courses that will enrich your personal growth, your business or your career. Take this free time in quarantine to learn something that will build you. Whether professional courses or an online bakery class, this is your time. You can also dive deep into learning about hair and hair products. Experiment as much as possible because this is the time to try and fail and try again and again. This is a unique chance that you may never see in your lifetime. Who knows, this could be the time you get to learn how to install your own box braids. We bet you’ll be taking bookings for weave installation soon!
We made Black Hair Hub for you. Yeah, you. Stop looking around for someone else. We are referring to you. As long as it involves hair, our website has everything you’re looking for.
