I like big buns and I cannot lie! Buns are all about making you look chic and Hollywood glam in less than 10 mins. This is the perfect hairstyle for a casual evening or even a soirée.
Prep: Wash, condition, and blow-dry your hair. Apply a good leave-in conditioner or a butter to moisturize your hair.
Style: Part your hair apart into the front section and the back section. Grab the back section of your hair and twist it into a bun at the nape of your neck. Secure this with an elastic and some bobby pins. Begin to braid the front hair sideways and away from the forehead in a French braid twist. Be sure to pick up more hair as you keep braiding and go as low as you can, securing the braid with an elastic. Tuck this braid and attach it to the bun with the bobby pins.
Complete the Look: To make it seem more natural, fluff the braid out. Finish this look with a hairspray and you’re all set! This natural holiday hairstyle is here to stay! Try out these cute updo hairstyles for black women

Prep: Since there will be a lot of scalp show, begin to prep your hair with a good shampoo and a conditioner. Dry and detangle your hair.
Style: Begin by parting your hair into 6 sections for the cornrows with the help of a comb and sectioning clips. To make the front of your cornrows look sleek and neat, slather on some hair gel and moisturizer at the front. Braid one section at a time, going as low as you can, securing it with an elastic. Gather all six sections and knot it up into a bun slightly above the nape of your neck.

The only buns you will ever love more than your burger buns (we promise). The 70’s space buns meet the charming braids in this elegant yet quirky updo and is perfect for the holidays. Perfect buns don’t happen by chance, you have to work your way for it girl.
Prep: Wash your hair with a shampoo and conditioner. Follow this with the African Pride Shea Miracle Moisture Intense Leave-In Conditioner for moisturizing the hair.
Style: Begin by parting your hair into two sections. Secure the left section into a ponytail with an elastic and tuck it away for now. Bend forwards and begin to French braid the right section from the bottom i.e your neck area working your way upwards. Be sure to pick up additional hair as you keep braiding your hair into a taut braid. Once you reach the top backside of your head (this is where your buns will be), secure the braid with an elastic. Repeat the same on the left section. The final result so far should be a pigtail with normal hair and a braided back section. Easy right? Now, just twist your pigtails into a bun and set them with elastics and bobby pins and you are all done.
Complete the Look: Loosen your buns for a natural look and set your baby hair in place with hair gel. Spritz some hairspray to make this last long.
